Asian Flank Steak
2Tblsp lemon juice
1Tblsp hoisin sauce
3Tblsp soy sauce
1/4C Worcestershire sauce
1tsp ground
2Tblsp chopped fresh cilantro
1Tblsp minced ginger
One 2-pound flank steak
2Tblsp chopped chives for garnish
In a 9×13 inch glass baking dish combine lemon juice, hoisin, soy sauce, Worcestershire, pepper cilantro, and ginger. Mix until well blended. Add the steak, cover w/plastic and marinate for up to 2 hours at room temp, turning twice.
Cook on grill or under broiler (5-6 min per side for med rare). Transfer to carving plate, cover with foil and allow to rest for 10 min before slicing. Slice the meat crosswise on the diagonal. Garnish with chives and serve. Great with roasted cherry tomatoes and potatoes.
