Wellness Mood Board
This new assignment has thrown me for a bit of a loop. What does wellness look like to me? In my perfect “wellness world” I’m slimmer, toned … have time in my day for meditation and exercise. I eat healthy and drink lots of water. What’s not in line with that mental picture? Everything. Sadly, I don’t know what steps to take to begin the journey.
On my board and currently missing from my life:
- meditation
- time for exercise
- drinking enough water
- good balanced nutrition
- keeping up with “office” work
Some ways to bring these things back into my life …
- After taking thyroid medication, use the 30 minutes to meditate and stretch rather than picking up my phone.
- Find a good way to track water consumption … even if that means purchasing a light up bottle (skip purchasing new pillows for a season if I think it’s will pinch)
- Meal planning, but not over purchasing due to frequent waste.
- Complete setting up second office space to allow for undivided attention computer time
If I truly want to make the changes, I need to take baby steps and realize it’s all possible if I simply cut out a wee bit of phone/kindle time. It’s a matter of priorities and Instagram is a time suck while “watching” crazy people that have discussions with their own reflections … think about THAT … as I sit here typing, basically talking to myself LOL
